To all batch 2013, Congratulations! My boyfriend, Derrick, graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering at UST, yesterday! Actually, he already finished all of his subjects last October 2012, and started working at his father’s company. Lucky him. lol

We arrived at UST around 1:30 P.M, and boy, it was crammed with cars trying to find a free parking space. Unfortunately, all free parking spaces were already taken, so many cars, including ours, headed to Carpark, a paid parking space — and an expensive one, if I may add — which only had several spaces left when we got there.

I decided to dye my hair for my cousin’s wedding a few months ago. At first I was thinking to have it done at a salon, but it’s quite expensive for my long hair. So I searched the internet and found Liese Prettia bubble hair dye. There are other bubble hair dyes in the market like Palty, Etude, Beauteen, etc. But I chose Liese Prettia because they have wide range of shades to choose from.

Bubble hair dyes are actually pretty easy to apply. Just lather it like shampoo and you’re all set.

Better late than never. I’m actually waiting for ‘something’ to arrive before I blog because it’s something that I’m really excited to blog about. But unfortunately, I don’t think ‘it’ will arrive this or next month, so I won’t expect it anymore and just carry on with life. Haha. Anyway, how have you guys been? How was your Christmas and New Year? As for me, it was a busy December because mom and I baked and sold chocolate brownies and butterscotch brownies to her friends. Thanks to that, thinking about brownies makes me sick now.

I received my package this afternoon — Samsung Galaxy Tab casing for my mom’s tab — which I purchased online last Saturday, December 1. My mom wanted a rotating case, so I immediately checked the designs that are available on Sulit and eBay. I was looking for something uncommon, so I chose the LV design, instead of a solid color.

Just like Viber, Whatsapp and ChatON, KakaoTalk is a free cross-platform messenger application that has various of awesome features, and has been rated as #1 free texting app by CNet.

Some of my favorite features are: very cute anicons (moving emoticons), themes (You can either make your own theme or download from   App store/in-app), walkie-talkie; Talking Tom, Talking Ben, and a few more voice call filters; group chat with unlimited number of friends, and games for KakaoTalk (play games with or against your KakaoTalk friends). Oh and this app has no ads!

This is my 3rd BB Cream, and I totally love it! My first BB cream was BRTC Blemish Recover Balm, which I’ve used for 3 years, but I felt that it’s time to try something new. I searched the internet and compared the most popular brands of BB creams. Finally, I decided to try Missha, so I sent them an SMS regarding what product would best suite my skin. They recommended Missha M Vita Matte BB cream, as it is water based, suitable for oily and sensitive skin.

I wanted to purchase the 20ml bottle to see if it will suit my skin. But unfortunately they only had the 50ml bottle that costs P1,500, so I really thought hard whether to purchase it or not because I’m unsure if it would suite my skin, otherwise my money would go to waste.

Very well describes how the Korean super boyband Big Bang is. They are one of the hottest K-idol in South Korea right now and getting ready to take over the world!

Just to take a break from posting product reviews, I’ll be blogging something more personal today. Today, October 9, 2012, marks our 24th month of being together, Derrick and I. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary at Buffet 101 yesterday… with my mom. Lol. My mom wanted to come along and we didn’t mind at all. And Derrick had to go to school today, so we thought of celebrating our anniversary the day before so that we could spend the whole day together.

We only have few pictures because we were busy eating. It’s our first time to dine at Buffet 101. The food is ordinary, but not that bad. My mom didn’t like their food that much as well. I prefer Vikings because they have Salmon Sashimi. And I think they have more food than Buffet 101. But what’s good about Buffet 101 is the ambiance. It really feels like you’re dining at a five start hotel. The layout design is very neat and tidy, unlike with Vikings, wherein their buffet tables are scattered and the spaces are narrow. But both establishments do have very  hospitable staffs, so two thumbs up!

I bought CoverGirl TRUblend Minerals Pressed Powder right after I ditched my IN2IT Oil Control Face Powder.  The last time I used a CG product was back in 2008. I walked around SM Makati’s department store to look for a mineral pressed powder, and CoverGirl was the first stall that I bumped to that has a mineral pressed powder. The first thing that I always ask whenever buying a pressed powder is if it’s 100% mineral because my skin is sensitive to comedogenic ingredients. a palpable is the antidote for civilization.

It’s been a while since my last entry. I’ve been MIA for two months and during that time I’ve been also testing 5 cosmetic products. First up is IN2IT Oil Control Face Powder.

IN2IT is a drugstore brand from Japan, although the product label says it’s made from Thailand. IN2IT Oil Control Face Powder has four shades: Soft Beige, Warm Beige, Harvest, and Chaste. I bought mine at the Department Store of Robinsons Place Manila. The sales associate attended to my queries and recommended Soft Beige for my skin tone.
